Sending Us Your Files
We work on top of the range Mac & PC Platforms, and use the following applications:

Files
We accept EPS, JPG and TIFF files but our preferred platform is Adobe Acrobat pdf high resolution. When correctly configured this is the most trouble free and is truly cross platform. It allows previewing in Acrobat Reader and properly embeds all fonts and graphics. Please contact us for our custom Cole's pdf settings.
Graphs & Tables
When sending Graphs and Tables please export your files as EPS, AI (Adobe Illustrator), PSD (Photoshop) or TIFF. Please set tables in MS Word or Word Perfect using tabs. If this is not possible, please send a clean printed copy of the table, so we can perform an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) scan of the text.
Acceptable external media for sending files
Writable CD, DVD, Electronic File Transfer, email, USB Memory Sticks and Floppy Disks. For any other media, please contact us as we can almost always find a solution.
Please Note: All media must be accompanied by a correct and up-to-date printed hard copy of the job and the file name must appear at the top of each page. If files are sent electronically, a printed copy must follow.
- When sending prepared files, there are certain specifications that apply.
- At least 300dpi resolution for an image at 100%. All images should be supplied at the same size as the final print or slightly larger. (An extra charge may be necessary if we need to customize for you).
- Images should be produced on disk separate from desktop publishing programme, ie. a disk containing original scans, images or photos in their original state.
- The name of the original must be the same as the placed image, ie. an image changed after placing must retain the original name.
- All compressed images must indicate what programme was used to compress them. We recommend Photoshop jpg with a quality of 10 for screen capture.
- All colour jobs must be defined as either Process CMYK, Spot, or a combination if specified. We can print any colour you wish using the CMYK/Spot combination and can include varnishing.
- Please note, in the case of Macintosh
- If you have saved your text as a graphic and require us to make changes to it, then we may need to contact you regarding the font used.
